What’s Left Behind is one third of three oil paintings that came about following a bout of artistic block and a period of 'should i pack it all in' and be a delivery driver . I couldn't seem to get the wheels turning, nothing seemed to come.....so I found myself doodling on paper stuck to a board. From these doodles I noticed some really interesting shapes and patterns left behind from the edges of the paper on the board. This struck some long-awaited inspiration and What’s Left Behind is one of the results.

 

What's Left Behind This is the second painting in the series and took on a life of its own as it progressed.
